Toshiba Satellite C650 Series Laptop Review
By Content • Sep 22nd, 2010 • Category: Laptop ReviewsToshiba’s Satellite C650 Series of laptops is designed to offer families a cost conscious entry level computer that can still handle all your needs. With well-balanced performance, sleek style, and brilliant display, this machine really does deliver.
The C650 series comes equipped with an AMD V120 2.2 GHz processor, 2 GB DDR3 RAM, and a 250 GB hard drive, which is enough to keep up with most office and school work. Beware however, this machine will require some upgrades to be up to demanding tasks such as gaming, heavy multi-tasking, or high end media streaming and viewing. Once upgraded to its fullest however (4GB DDR3 RAM and 2.3 GHz dual-core Intel Pentium T4500), this machine will handle just about anything you or your family can throw at it.
Probably the most impressive feature of this line though is its price tag. These machines retail for between approximately $425 and $550, well under many of its competitors. However, cutting costs doesn’t mean cutting out quality either. With a sleek textured black design, this machine still looks and feels impressive. Coupled with a high definition 15.6-inch TruBrite widescreen display, this computer presents videos and photos with a whole new dimension of vibrancy and depth.
Add to that Toshiba’s Eco-Conscious Engineering, making laptops out of environmentally friendly methods and materials, and you have a machine you can be proud to own. And the Eco-Conscious Engineering won’t just make you feel good; it’s built into the laptop in things like an LED backlit display that uses less energy so your battery lasts even longer. It also maintains the versatility of your machine, with a Memory Card Reader, USB ports, and Wi-Fi and Ethernet ports, this machine can handle any peripheral you need to get the job done.
