HP is targeting small business users who want to print high-quality marketing materials and color documents with their HP Color LaserJet CP1510. With integrated tools for creating eye-catching documents, as well as guides for printing sharp color prints, the machine makes all varieties of color-printing tasks quicker and easier.

Despite its powerful printing engine and large paper capacities, the CP1510 is not particularly bulky. Its dimensions are 10 inches by 15.7 inches by 17.8 inches (HWD). It weighs around 40 pounds, making it easy to move with a little help. Print speed is fast, at up to 12 pages per minute in black and 8 pages per minute in color. First page out times are a bit slower than competing models, at around 25 seconds.

The HP CP1510 has a number of features designed for ease of use. It has built-in networking support, making it easy to connect and share across a network of computer users, and the HP Easy Printer Care Software allows administrators to manage up to 15 HP printers quickly and easily. Enhanced menu screens allow users to insert a media card or thumb drive, choose from a few simple options, and output a high-quality print very easily.

Supporting multiple users requires power under the hood, and the HP Color LaserJet CP1510 doesn’t disappoint. It includes a 450 mhz processor and 96 MB of RAM as standard features. The RAM can also be upgraded to a maximum of 352 MB for busy office environments or for handling large, graphics-intensive print jobs.

With excellent print quality and solid speeds to offer, the HP Color LaserJet CP1510 should appeal to small or medium office environments that need color printing on a budget, but don’t want to sacrifice quality or ease of use. Economical toner costs will save money in the long run, and upgradeability will allow the machine to support more users in the future as an office grows in size.
